studios without walls

through the trees

"Studios Without Walls" is a collective of artists who exhibit site specific sculptural installations along Riverway Park in Brookline and at other locations. The works engage the audience in considering the relationship between site-specific art and the environment in which it is seen. The artists explore and communicate their understanding of art, and challenge the audience to reconsider their traditional assumptions. Utilizing natural and recycled materials works are geared to a large and diverse audience, encouraging them to reflect on the environment that surrounds them in their everyday lives.
